You are just being too nice! SUV's is a typical example of why the world is heading for the scrap heap. Everyone thinks of themselves first and no-one thinks about the big picture - the planet. This is also why we have seen no coordinated political response to global warming and climate change - if you for a second exclude Kyoto, which is large symbolic anyway. We have never been in a situation where the whole palnet is about to go up in smoke. We have no experience of this and are largely unable to organise a global coordinated response because we are unable to think outside our own needs - e.g. I need a SUV because I look better than the family next door. It makes me sick!!!
